1960s Yamato model 32oz x 1/8 0z and 900g x 2g.
The SM(N) series is a NSF certified mechanical portion control scale. The scale is constructed of rugged, durable stainless steel with a removable snap-on stainless steel platform. The fine point indicator helps to give the most accurate results with the easy to read 8", 30 degree tilted dial.
The scale is adjusted using dials just under the measuring plate. (See photo) The measuring plate as mentioned, is made of metal.
Yamato products made in Japan is a well known , successful company still around today. This particular scale is still needed in the kitchen and Yamato continues to made updated versions. This vintage Yamato is not seen often today. So a cool unique collectible
The scale is fully functioning. The aesthetic condition is far at the moment. Once cleaned and shined up, this we’ll be beautiful.
