Vintage Barbie OPEN ROAD Red Cat Eye Sunglasses #985 1961-62 VHTF Nice

Description

Hard-to-find red sunglasses from the "Open Road" outfit (1961-62).  These are in excellent condition, showing little or no wear.  There are no marks anywhere that I can see, and no stains.  The two arms are secure, and they move back and forth freely.
The arms are a little bit hard to open wide to put on the doll's head -- I have read that this could mean that the glasses have never been put on a doll.   They can be opened wider than it shows in the photos, but it has to be done carefully.
