Vintage Barbie Doll Bridal Leg Garter Here Comes Bride Dream Wedding 1960s

Original Blue Sheer Leg Garter with Flower that goes to some of the Barbie Wedding Outfits from 1959-1965  Brides Dream, Wedding Day, and Here Comes the Bride. Coloring on this garter is beautiful still the original blue has not aged faded. Only very minor age soil spots. The flower is a variation. Flower is in the white family normally pink and it has a very dark yellow bud and a pale yellow stem normally a dark green. (There is a chance this came from the wedding trousseau as I never have seen NRFB in person however I do have the pieces in my moms estate(ring pillow etc) I had a large amount of the garters in my moms estate and this flower is different.)Last few pictures I show it with a few other Barbie garters so you can see the difference they are NOT included a reference only. The garter has one flower I have seen them come both with one or two flowers. The ruffles are nice full, at the edge only minimal fray at edge from factory cut and they are in the correct shape. The flaw is the elastic has separated at the seam. The elastic is still good and springy however. It stays on Barbie's leg as shown if you do not know how to repair. The ruffle in that area has a small separation area with some fray in that area as that is where the seam is supposed to be. It is still has closure on the outer part of the sheer as shown. I would mend the seam as eventually this area that is together will break with heavy usage. Pictures taken in natural light. Barbie NOT included a model only to show you how the item displays.
