Vintage Barbie 1965 "Dancing Doll" Outfit #1626 • Near Mint & Complete

Description

Barbie's pretty "Dancing Doll" (outfit #1626) was only available in 1965 and can be hard to find, especially in near mint condition. This listing is for the complete outfit (although the belt is not the original) and includes the following:
• sleeveless pink and white checked dress with a full skirt. Bodice has a wide white collar accent with an embroidered floral applique. Closes in the back with a smooth-working YKK zipper. Adjustable pink vinyl belt with white plastic buckle. Black and white Barbie® tag is attached. No holes, tears, stains or repairs. Colors have not faded. Very clean and unwrinkled with no unpleasant odors. A pink hanger is included.
• pair of white closed toe heels with no splits. Both are appropriately marked "Japan."
• blue and white plastic record player with no melts or rubs. Two tiny indented circles on the turntable - looks like a broken bubble of paint from the manufacturing process. Arm is well attached and moves easily. Clean cardboard backing marked "Japan."
• one black plastic record with a red Barbie label on both sides. No chips, cracks, melts or rubs. Over time, the glue has darkened some of the label.
