Vintage Barbie 1959-1962 "Resort Set" Outfit #963 • Near Mint & Near Complete

Description

Barbie's "Resort Set" (outfit #963) was available from 1959 (Barbie's inaugural year) to 1962. This near complete listing (just missing the bracelet) includes the following items:
• red sailcloth jacket with middy collar. Accented with white trim on the collar and around the sleeves. Two patch pockets. Black and white Barbie® tag attached.
• sleeveless navy and white striped knit shell. Closes with an attached snap.
• pair of white sailcloth shorts with cuffs. Closes with an attached snap.
• white sailcloth hat/visor
• pair of cork wedges with white vinyl uppers. No cracks or repairs in the cork.
No stains, holes, tears, markings or repairs. All stitching is tight. Little wear. Colors are vivid; whites have not yellowed.. Very clean and unwrinkled with no unpleasant odors. A red hanger is included.
