This vintage 1959 Barbie outfit includes:
A satin-lined gold brocade coat with fur trim on the cuffs
Matching gold brocade sheath dress with back zipper (zipper works)
Green corduroy clutch bag with gold bead closure (good condition)
The outfit is in played-with condition. It has:
A coat which shows lots of wear and lining has tears where the sleeves attach to the coat (also a small one on the left sleeve seam)
Sheath dress has darkened with age and use
No other stains, tears, or holes not already mentioned
No bad smells
The coat is tagged with the vintage tag ("Barbie ®/©By Mattel") but is very torn and missing the ends. This outfit dates from 1959-1964 and is #961.
