Ultraviolet Light Water Purifier Whole House UV Sterilizer 12 GPM 55W w/ Extra Bulbs
This system is good to kill harmful Bacteria, E Coli, Viruses Fungi, Algae and most microorganisms including cryptosporidium, giardia and many other contaminants.
Installation steps
a. Before installation, please test the voltage of the installation point. To ensure the ballast work properly, the voltage must be between 24V.
b. Please fix the UV sterilizer with clips in a certain point, in order to avoid dropping and damage.
c. Connect the water inlet & outlet, then, open the water valve. Check the connectors of the sterilizer if there is leakage. If no, plug –in electricity.
Installation and maintenance cautions
1 When UV lamp working, do not stare directly at the lamp!
2. If in a vertical installation, pls input the water in the low point, and output the water in the high point, so that to slower the water flow speed and increase the UV disinfection time.
3. If the water flow is too fast, please install limit flow rate & pressure device.
4. When the pressure over 3kg, please install check valve at the outlet to protect the quartz tube.
5. If the sterilizer should be connected with normally closed solenoid valve, the normally closed solenoid should be
installed in the inlet.
6. If the raw water turbidity exceeds 5 degrees, a filter should be installed before the sterilizer, in order to ensure
that the UV sterilization effect.
7. Every 2-3 months, please take the quartz sleeve out and check if there is scaling on the surface and determine the
quartz sleeve surface cleaning time.
Cleaning assembly steps
1. Turn off the power → take out the lamp →remove the cap→remove the seal ring→ take out quartz sleeve→ wash the quartz sleeve→ put in the quartz sleeve → put in the seal ring→tighten the cap → put in the lamp→ Turn on the power( Do not lose the seal ring)
2. When install the quartz sleeve, please put the sleeve into the stainless steel chamber first, then tighten the non-
hole cap and check if there is leakage, then tighten the hole cap and check if there is leakage.
3. Washing the scaling of the quartz sleeve with neutral soap or citric acid, then clean the surface of the quartz sleeve with alcohol.
Failure recovery
1. If there is water leakage of the cap of the UV sterilizer, please replace the seal ring in time.
2. If there is water leakage Found casing has been flowing out, please check whether there are cracks within the quartz
tube, quartz tube if replace.
3. Such as a leaking water inlet and outlet, first turn off the water, the nylon joints or metal joints around after the
water stop, then nylon joints or metal fittings installed interface.
4. If lamp is not lit, check the ballast power indicator light, if not bright, said internal fuse burned out, replace
the fuse.
5. Such as red light and there is a sound which means that the lamp is damaged, please replace the lamp, turn off the
power when the swap after the lamp replacement, to prevent damage to the circuit board and the lamp!
