This auction is for a
vintage postcard titled:
CHURCH OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD and SHRINE of MARY, MOTHER OF THE
GOOD SHEPHERD, PERRYVILLE (Route 40) MARYLAND
It was not postally used and does not include a stamp.
Back reads "The Roman Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd on Route 40,
Perryville, Maryland,  plus two mission churches in Port Deposit and Rising Sun,
accommodate actually three Parishes.  The recently dedicated Shrine of Mary, Mother of the
Good Shepherd has become a stopping place for prayer for hundreds
of tourists, daily, who use Route 40 going North and South. The Shrine was erected by the Navy
men and women of  Bainbridge, Md.  REVEREND WILLIAM R. COUMING, Pastor.
Printed in the U. S. A. 30".

It is in old vintage condition with light soiling, light stain in corner, tiny corner tip folds,
and a little edge and corner tip wear
as shown.
