Lead Free Faucet Adaptor Diverter Valve RO and Countertop Water Filter 1/4 Tube

Description

Chrome plated brass faucet diverter valve with 360 degree swivel, 1/4" tube compression fitting, and built in aerator. Silicone rubber gasket for leak free operation. Lead free. Fits most standard faucets (55/64" or 22 mm) with a screw on aerator (female). The faucet diverter valve connects to any device requiring a 1/4" or 3/8" water supply line for operation (countertop filter, reverse osmosis system, water ionizer, etc).
Installation of diverter valve:
Remove existing aerator from the faucet
Verify the silcone gasket with screen is pressed into the faucet diverter valve
Screw on the faucet diverter valve (hand tightening only is required)
Unscrew the compression nut and slide over any 1/4" OD plastic tube
Push the tubing firmly onto the barb connection
Tighten the compression nut (hand tight only)
Faucets equipped with a screw in aerator (male), require a faucet adaptor. We offer a chrome plated brass faucet adaptor kit, converting any 13/16”-27 or 15/16”-27 thread faucet to 55/64”-27 threads. All our adaptors come standard with BUNA-N rubber gaskets to ensure leak free operation, without the need for Teflon tape or toxic pipe sealants. Select Faucet Adaptor Kit at checkout.
Installation of faucet adaptor:
Remove the existing aerator from the faucet.
Insert the 13/16" and 15/16" adaptors to determine correct adaptor size
Screw in the appropriate adaptor into the faucet (hand tightening only is required)
Follow instructions for installation of the faucet diverter valve
Devices equipped for 3/8" water supply require a 1/4" to 3/8" tube conversion kit. We offer a tubing conversion kit consisting of a 1/4" push to connect x 3/8" push to connect food grade polypropylene reducing coupling and 4" Mur-Lok LLDPE food grade antimicrobial tubing. Installation of tubing conversion kit
Unscrew the faucet diverter valve compression nut and slide over one end of the included 4" x 1/4" OD LLDPE tube.
Firmly press the LLDPE tube onto the faucet diverter valve barbed connector.
Push the 1/4" push to connect fitting of 1/4" x 3/8" reducing coupling onto the the remaining end of the supplied tube until the tube is fully inserted.
Push the 3/8" OD device tube into the 3/8" push to connect fitting of the 1/4" x 3/8" reducing coupling until the tube is fully inserted.
Operation of valve:
1. Turn the black lever down and slowly open the cold water supply on the faucet. Water flows through the diverter valve built in aerator to the sink.
2. Turn the black lever towards the compression fitting. Water flows through the diverter valve to the desired device.
