These filters WILL work in place of PLEATED type filters as long as size is same. The length can vary as long as your filter housing bowl is deep enough to accommodate.
Kinetico recommend replacing the Sediment Pre-Filter every 3 to 6 months. Depending on your water quality. replace this filter sooner if you notice the water flow is slowing down or the FILTER color becomes darker. (See pics in listing.)
These filters will last much longer than the 5 micron filter which may only last a few weeks depending on water quality. They can also put a strain on water pumps as filter becomes restricted.

I’ve sold hundreds of these filters over last few years. As with many items, I ran out of stock a few months ago and was unable to restock until now. After 90 days Ebay removes the sales history which shows qty sold, so I had to to a new listing. Trying to get Ebay to relist my qty sold but no luck yet.
