This GE RPWFE water filter cartridge offers the brand's most advanced filtration. It has been tested and verified to reduce five trace pharmaceuticals, including ibuprofen, progesterone, atenolol, trimethoprim and fluoxetine. It's also been certified to reduce chlorine-resistant cysts, select pharmaceuticals and 50 other impurities. Reduces chloramines and chlorine for better tasting water and ice, and reduces 99% of Perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and Perfluorooctaine Sulfonate (PFOS). This GE RPWFE Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter Cartridge #RPFWE has a twist-and-lock design that allows for easy, tool-free, no-mess filter replacement. For best filtration results, this GE water filter replacement cartridge should be replaced every six months or 300 gal.
