Description
custom riding boots by a Brazilian company in a Havana brown or dark chocolate brown color. Size 6.5 but if you wear a 7 they can also work. I’m always a 6.5 and these fit me fine but I have a little teeny bit of room. It’s definitely a boot that sits in between these sizes.IF YOU AREN’T SURE IF THESE BOOTS WILL FIT YOU, PLEASE, PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION. I WILL HELP YOU. IT MIGHT TAKE A FEW MINUTES BUT ITS WORTH IT CONSIDERING IT TOOK ME MORE THAN A FEW MINUTES TO TYPE IT OUT.
I FITTED FOR CUSTOM HIGH END DRESSAGE AND JUMPING BOOTS FOR FOUR YEARS. (Not for this exact company, but I can still show you if they will fit you or not)
Ok, so I will describe them first. They’ve only been ridden in a handful of times (maybe 2 or 3 times), they are near new. The bottoms are in near-new condition. They are in the color Havana or dark chocolate.
I got these boots to match my jumping helmet. It has orange or burnt rust colored details. These boots have an orange-type piping around the button tabs. You can do dressage or jumping in them. Or polo, or whatever discipline really. They’re super cool, and worth the price I have them listed for. I paid much more than that. I have too many boots so I’m selling these.
OK NOW for the sizing, you will see I included my measurements in the pictures. PLEASE SEE ALL OF THEM.
I measure 32 CENTIMETERS for the calf/ 43 CENTIMETERS for the height.
USE CENTIMETERS TO MEASURE YOURSELF or convert. They’re more accurate, and the Europeans do it, so it’s the better way. WEAR BREECHES AND SOCKS. DO NOT measure bare legged. Your measurements will be off by at least 2 centimeters. This is a fact. They won’t be correct.
Measure the widest part of your calf. NOW, this is the important part.
Because,
these boots are button, we have some leeway as to what measurements can work for this boot.
CALF: if you measure between a 30-35 you will fit into these just fine, just how you see them on me, they will also fit you that way in the calf. The closer to 35 you are, the more custom fitted they would be. I have a little bit of room but again, they still fit just fine. Not poorly fitted at all. 36-37 centimeters I can’t guarantee. Yes, you can stretch these boots with water on the inside and practicing wearing them for a few days before committing to actually riding in them. But again they would likely be snug.
But some people like it snug
. I sure do. I don’t want to feel my legs. I
want
to lose circulation. This helps make boots last longer, because if they are too large in the calf, they drop and wrinkle too much in the ankle, and the zippers get compromised and they break. This is a fact. So the tighter the better.
Ok now for the height, also very important.
HEIGHT: again, I measured a 43 centimeters height. I like my boots TALL. I want them to be too tall in the beginning so that when they drop, my leg won’t look ugly in the boot and give the illusion that I have too short of legs for my body, while I ride.
So, when I order custom boots, I order them 3 or 4 centimeters TALLER than my natural leg measurement, because they will drop 3 or 4 centimeters total over time as you break them in. So for example my custom boot would have the measurement of 46 or 47. These are the measurements I use every time I order a custom pair of boots.
Now here’s the main thing I’m getting at to help you see if these boots work. Since these boots have been worn a couple times, they have dropped.
SO IF YOU measure yourself between 42-45 these will fit you. They won’t be going over your knee, and you will be able to bend your knee fine and it won’t be painful they will fit great.
But, if you measure 39-41 they would be too tall for you. They would probably be in the middle of your knee or taller. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, because they can still be broken in much more, so if you are willing to get taller boots then that’s fine.
But if you measure 46-48 they’re too short for you, sorry, move along. Get a taller pair. Ok fine maybe 46 will fit actually, they might not look bad so maybe I think it’s worth it, and maybe we can talk about it if you message me. But 47 or 48 forget about it. Too short again.
Ok so I hope this helps.
Good luck.
