The Horse Racing Boot by Bob Hill has many classic features, making it a fan favorite among many riders. One of its first defining characteristics is its triangular shaped protective ankle pad. These small pads have been strategically placed to help reduce discomfort, caused by friction, that jockeys may face while they are riding. The pad has been stitched on with double stitch seams and is filled with soft foam cushioning. This pull-on boot also features a trapezoid shaped elastic located at the backside on the collar of the boot. This feature provides riders with more comfort whenever they are in a riding position that requires calf flexion. The Vibram sole has been glued on and the horseshoe shaped heel of the boot is both glued on and nailed in, for additional reinforcement and durability.
