We supply the best price on Aluminum Heat Transfer Plates for 1/2" PEX Tubing.
Each plate is 2' long x 4 7/16" wide. We also have 4' long heat transfer plates.
Each is made with .016 in thick aluminum 3105-H14
Can be stapled up by hand or powered staplers.

Heat transfer plates can be used for subfloor heating (between joists). Tubing easily snaps into the plate and is then secured with  metal staples by hand or powered staple guns to subfloor (see picture). Screws also can be used. It can also be used for
"sandwich" type installations, when tubing is between the subfloor (plywood) and flooring (hardwood, laminated floors, carpet, etc.) and many other types of installation. Our aluminum has a high heat transfer ratio warming the entire floor area.
Hot water is circulated through the pex tubing in the underfloor heating systems joist spaces of your home, where heat is then conducted to the attached aluminum heat transfer plates warming the wood subfloor and the entire room above is comfortably and evenly heated. Most applications recommend heat transfer plates 8" on center or with joists 16" on center, you would have one loop up and back in a joist cavity. To figure out how many heat transfer plates you need in this application multiply your total square feet by .325. For example a 300 square foot room would need 300 x .325 = 97.5 heat transfer plates. So one box would serve your needs well. Normally you leave a gap of 1/2" - 1" between the heat transfer plates to allow for expansion and contraction.
