The Whirlpool 4396710 filter is a newer, improved version of the older
4396841
filter. If you are currently using the 4396841 filter, you may upgrade to the new filter (4396710) as long as you do not see the words “Fast Fill“ or “PUR Measure“ on your water dispenser. If you do see either of these words on the dispenser, you must stick with the 4396841 filter (4396841 has dual flow rates of 0.50 gpm and 0.85 gpm).
