    Description

    This groovy orange skirt and matching jacket suit is a factory tagged original by Shillman, made to fit all the Barbie clone dolls. I did find a photo online of this exact outfit when researching it, so I know the original package specifically named Maddie Mod, Twiggy, P.J., Julia and of course Barbie as dolls this will fit. The outfit includes a bright orange mini skirt, and coordinating short sleeved orange double breasted jacket. The torso of the jacket is the same orange fabric, but the collar and sleeves are cream. The bodice is trimmed with six tiny white buttons. The skirt and jacket both close with metal snaps. The jacket is tagged inside in the side seam: Exclusively for Shillman Brooklyn NY on one side, and 1969 Made in Hong Kong on the other. The outfit was played with. It still displays well, but needs a cleaning; I was hesitant to try because I don't know what this fabric is. Some type of leather-textured faux -- vinyl? It has little spots front and back; please look at all photos. The collar needs a few stitches where it is starting to detach from the neckline. This is on-seam so shouldn't be hard to mend.
