    Description

    1965 Vintage Mattel Barbie "Midnight Blue" #1617 DRESS and CAPE.
    Hard-to-find outfit made for only one year. Nice condition overall. Does not look like it was ever washed. Fabric is nice with no color bleeding, snags or fading. Cape has 2 small areas of spots on back that look worse in my photos than real life. One of my photos looks like the stain is on the white lining but it is on the back, blue slide. It is also missing the “eye” for the hook to close at the neck. Dress is not stained. Fabric is just a little wrinkly from being stored in a case. This is fresh from a Dallas estate (found yesterday). No bad odors.
