Description:
Two panel light weight nylon webbing weave is lighter in weight than polyester webbing, but close in strength. Low stretch, low absorption rate, non-porous fiber, and high strength makes this an excellent choice for outdoor uses as well! This is called 2 panel because of the two different rows in which the weave runs on the webbing giving the webbing an appearance of two seperate rows although it is one complete panel of webbing. This can be used for safety harnesses, bag straps, tie-downs and many other applications just as regular nylon webbing is used for.
Notes on Use:
It is best to use 1 inch hardware with this nylon webbing. D-rings, buckle, triglides etc. are sized by the webbing or straps they are meant to be used with.
Tensile strength is the average breaking point under good conditions at the factory. We recommend that you use no more than 50% of the tensile strength of any webbing.
Some rolls may contain factory splices. If you need a continuous roll let us know.
This light-weight material is stronger than polypropylene webbing, but can be used in most of the same applications, including:
